Conclusions: Pros: the unit is very nice, its small and it looks awesome near the TV, the WiFi works perfectly fine and it has an Ethernet connection just in case. Image is sharp and looks awesome. Cons: The unit starts very fast, but after a few minutes of use it gets VERY slow, youtube videos stop responding, Xbmc freezes for 30 seconds or so, then works, if I reboot the unit it works fine for another 20-30 minutes. The included control is mediocre at best. I am using the latest FW version available on the minix site, and its just too slow. if you can't afford a better player or don't mind the slowness, get this one, it does have great quality build and awesome picture quality and the price is not that bad.

Conclusions: Pros: - active forum (Minix) where you can seek help - nice launcher - Kodi works really great! - good price - good quality plastic - Netflix works ok - it is updated regulary - airplay works ok (mirroring is a bit sluggish and audio desynced, but works!) - stays pretty cool (with passive cooling) Cons: - can be very sluggish (web/video player/app switching) - can play 720p HEVC, at 1080p tho there are drop frames - you can't use some apps without mouse (eg. BBC iplayer or Play store) - Wifi is a bit weak - gtv box remote emulation is a bit flaky - some android apps are pretty weak when compared to desktop/web versions (BBC Iplayer eg.), but thats not Minix fault X8 is much better and faster model, but X6 for it's price is a decent pruchase. I got it with 50% discount, so i am happy with it.

Conclusions: The TV player is great for viewing movies that I download from the internet or for using different streaming services. The XBMC player installed can be used to view almost any movie format or quality. I had no problem in watching 1080p videos, the quality of the image is great. Android OS is also good because installing new apps is very easy and there are plenty of apps available. Cons: The remote is not so easy to use but it can be replaced with a cheap keyboard or airmouse.

Conclusions: Easy to use, small, powerfull, if you are looking just for movies and sports, this is the product.
