Advantages: One of the best TV-BOX Intel CPU Bluetooth Windows and Android dual boot good operation under windows 10 activated OS

Limitations: Only 32GB RAM

Limitations: Little 32 GB internal storage space divided between Windows 10 and Android 5.1.1, and does not come with other essencial accessories such as keyboard, mouse and speakers.2 USB ports 2.0 and only 1 USB 3.0 port.No built-in DVD player and recorder.

Advantages: It works as advertised. Overall satisfied. Didn't try Android nor Windows, went straight to Lubuntu. To linux people: you can erase all the partitions and install Lubuntu using a live USB key; you'll just have to manually hijack EFI, after Grub updates, otherwise it won't boot. sudo cp /boot/efi/EFI/ubuntu/grubx64.efi /boot/efi/EFI/boot/bootx64.efi sudo update-grub Bluetooth won't work in linux. Everything else ok. Wi-Fi signal just average. I only use LAN anyway. No wakeonlan support.

Limitations: WiFi strength average at best: no use as Wi-Fi hot spot. It has a hardware power-on switch, no support for auto power-on nor wake-on-lan.

Advantages: Cheap, activated Win 10 Pro, small, quiet, build quality, USB 3, WiFi and Ethernet. Smooth play of a FHD streaming video from ytoube in Android (see cons).

Limitations: No VGA connector (so you can't just replace your old Pentium4 with this - adapter needed). Small storage (see partitiis scrshot), dated Android (5.1). In Win, device struggles with an FHD ytoube vid.

Advantages: The Alfawise X5 Mini PC is used for streaming Netflix and Amazon Video on an older Full HD screen (1080P). Occasionally this computer is used to surf the internet, mostly with the Chrome browser. This small computer comes with dual boot, Windows 10 and Android. I have erased the Android section to free more space for Windows 10. I have also erased all unnecessary Windows components, disabled automatic upgrades and I use the lan cable not the W-lan. With this setup the PC works great, the CPU load remains at around 50-60% during the streaming. Streaming is fluent, no stops. Power consumption is very low, mostly 5-7W, even with full CPU load I measured less than 8W

Limitations: Unfortunately it can only be switched on manually by pushing the power button.

Advantages: My first box was a Android 6 version. I wanted to explore a mini-pc box for converting another older TV to a smart unit. The box provides Win 10 as well as Android 5.1. When used with a HDMI/DVI monitor very good screen image but with older TV image is harder to read. However the box performs exceptionally well in delivering Internet programing

Advantages: I should say when the unit boots you have the option to select WIndows or android with an Icon.... In windows there is a boot to Android Icon so easy to switch between . Cmos settings very sparse not much at all, 4 or so screen of basic setting Video Playback on windows Ok Netflix also. So what to do...do you remove the Android Partition to get more space for WIndows 10 Works well as is, add a sd card for more storage etc, ext hdd and that internal USB port might be able to hide a USB stick in there For what this is had a lot worse, If you want a Basic unit for under I think $80us, this would have to have some use. Office, Internet casual games, lots of things....
