Elephone G2 - Comments

Conclusions: The battery is running at 30C idle and hits 42C when in use. The rest of the phone is very good. Android 5.0 though is not so much. Comparing to 4.4 there are steps forward and backward. Also Elephone didn't include much in basic apps, which is good but installing what you need is a challenge. At first it says that the phone is incompatible with the app (most of them). I am guessing that it needs some updates to work (either wait a couple of hours with wifi enable or (what I did) start installing what it lets you and then you will see that apps are becoming compatible). Also without any "funny" apps installed (I got FB, twitter, and a couple more) I keep finding apps installed that I didn't ask for. Phone: Camera is good, screen is good, quality is good. All (except battery) is a lot better that you would expect from a cheap phone.

Conclusions: the product has a good quality, and presentation. the comunication with seller was excelent, only a little slow the shippment because the product was over, but after, it arrived to my country fast. I recomend this telephone because is sheap and very good.

Elephone is a good brand, some specs are good, others are cheap.. this is the main pro/cons Pro - Cheap - Performance of 64 bit MT6732M - Good performance for games and cpu apps - good screen light - Battery has good performance, is real 2200mAh (measured) and las long Cons: - Weak flash light power(non usefull for picture, only for emergency light) - Poor camera quality - Resolution is very low 854x480 - No notification light and back light soft touch keys - Too much heat on the rear part during surfing, watching video or doing bench
