Conclusions: Was very excited when I got mine. Nice looking, 2 sim cards, LTE. And not very expensive (don't wanna say "cheap"). And is $110 cheap for a media player? In my book, it's way too expensive. On the 12th day of using found a couple of missed calls. Strange, did not hear it ringing. Turned out the speaker just died on me. A known issue (check the Vernee site). Very inadequate soldering of the speaker contacts. The same true for headset jack: if you use it too often it may die on you pretty soon. Needs

Advantages: The Vernee Thor is really a surprising concentration of features for a very low price. I've bought dozens of phones from Chinese brands with varying reputations (Jiayu, Oppo, Zopo, THL, Elephone, ZTE, Xiaomi and now Vernee), and this one really is amazing for its feature+quality/price ratio. Everything works definitely well, the battery lasts for long (over 4 days for my wife with light to moderate usage, LTE always on, screen brightness at 60%). And the cherry is that updates are regularly rolling out (3rd one since purchase), improving the rom and features. Even the fingerprint scanner works very nicely, even compared to more notorious brands. Thumbs up!

Advantages: Its beutiful, fast, some people say the fingerprint id does not work but mine works perfectly, nice screen, very fast delievery and excelente custumer service.

Advantages: Vernee Thor is compact, durable and very well built with a slightly rubberized back that allows a firm grip. The processor is the Mediatek 6753 Octacore and we have 3GB of RAM and 16GB of memory (expandable via Micro SD) that are the result always ready and quick phone in all situations and on warm even under stress. The 5-inch IPS display with a HD resolution and provides good results and visibility even in the sun. The main camera is 13 MP with LED flash and makes good pictures. The front one for selfies is 5MP and it's not of great quality. The operating system is 6.0 Androin stock and is responsive and fast. The 2800mAh battery is a good time, you quietly more than a day of medium to high usage. There is also a fingerprint sensor, under the rear camera, but do not always respond well. Vernee Thor is really a great phone!

Advantages: It's a mid-class handset. Considerably superior to the entry-level budget device that are on offer in Germany. Solid built quality. Everything works fine. Phone is fast. It's nice that is comes without all the bloat ware. Sound quality of loudspeaker is a bit tinny. Sound quality of earpiece during calls, etc. is nice. Also, sound quality of headphone jack is nice (D/A converter ok).

Limitations: Of course you notice that this is no high-end device, so loudspeaker could be better. Camera could be better. There is no notification LED.

Advantages: - Good handle, well-crafted and light, excellent screen-body ratio (looks/feels very slim compared to other 5" phones) - Very fast! - Stock Android 6.0 (not filled up with useless apps) - Bio-metric identification works well - Battery cannot be replaced but seems to be strong enough to survive 2 days - Camera is better than average, dynamic range is a bit poor and HDR is useless due to strong smoothing algorithm
