One of its best advantages is , it has an external mic support which enables us to record clear and decent sound recording during vlogging or travel. Conclusions: I used GoPro Hero before, and try to get a cheaper product with similar quality. In case of SJ7 STAR it seems to be a good ratio in price/value. I ordered a 128GB micro SD as well, working well together.

Conclusions: This is great performing sport cam. The advantage is that it supports native 4k@30fps. However, I prefer recording in 2k@60fps, when using slo-mo 1080p@120 fps. I really like the idea of touch display and that it has waterproof cover that supports touchscreen. However, I have mixed feelings about Mini USB, WHY?, why not go for typical Micro USB, which is more popular (at least in consumer equipment in Europe). + The camera is smaller than SJ5000X. Quality o photo is about the same.
