Beelink S1 - Comments

Advantages: It's a compact fanless PC capable of web browsing and media playback up to 4K. It has great I/O for the price and it's quite beautiful to look at. Also it only needs 18Watts to operate (basically it needs about 10 Watts or so) so it's a great movie PC or torrent PC you could use. It can house a M.2 SSD and a 3,5" HDD or SSD drive.

Limitations: The Celeron N3450 is less powerfull than I though :/ It's at 100% all the time when I do the lightest simpliest thing... The BIOS of this thing are limited to only tweak the boot order... nothing else. Gearbest didn't have the 8GB RAM model available, so I had to go for the 4GB one. Also I accidentally chose the US version but immediately contacted them to change it to EU and they told me I had to pay an extra 30 euros or something if I wanted to have the EU version (at the time I had sent the first message, the EU version was selling for the same price). Pretty lame -_- They sent me a WHITE (-_-) adapter for the BLACK US AC adapter -_-. Meh...The top of the device is glossy plastic. I suppose it's getting scratched easily.

Advantages: very reliable mini PC, function like a decktop. No problem with Windows updates and fast update.Added a 2.5 hard-disk and it runs perfectly well. Connect a portable CD ROM and it works perfectly good like a decktop CD rom. Bluetooth connectivity was great with any headset and speakers. Sounds quantity was fantastic.Graphic display perfectly displayed with any monitors. Tried on my 65" Samsung curve TV. Wow, nicely fits without any adjustments on the setting. Recommended and will purchase one more set.Seller is honest and reliable.

Limitations: It will be good to increase the capacity 128GB or more.

Conclusions: This mini PC is a bit bigger than my older Tronsmart Ara Plus but with better CPU Intel Quad Core N3450 & 4 GB of Ram ungradeable to 8 GB. & I got it at the same price as Tronsmart.
